Privacy Policy

How this static guide uses consent-based Google Analytics, local preference storage, third-party media, and email.

No account or form data

This site has no accounts, comments, contact forms, or field for a Groq API key or any other secret. The edition selector runs in your browser. Analytics events never include an AI conversation, API key, file, or text you enter. Google Analytics and advertising tags are not loaded on this Privacy Policy page.

Google Analytics and consent choices

On other pages, this site uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-9VVDQER1ZQ to measure page views and selected interactions such as edition changes, guide opens, project-page clicks, and video plays. Google may process browser, device, approximate location, page, referrer, and interaction data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Consent Mode starts with analytics and advertising storage denied for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and granted for visitors elsewhere. Before a visitor in one of the consent-required regions grants consent, Google tags may send limited, cookieless measurement requests, but they do not use analytics or advertising storage. The site's Google-certified consent platform offers consent, do not consent, and manage-options choices in those regions. Those choices update analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization signals. Declining does not block any guide or selector function.

Plausible Analytics

This site also uses Plausible Analytics to count aggregate page views and traffic sources. The tracker script and event endpoint are served from plausible-ly-005.pages.dev. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent browser identifiers, and this site has not configured Plausible custom events or properties. It runs on this Privacy Policy page and other public pages independently of the Google consent choice. See the Plausible Data Policy.

Google AdSense advertising

The homepage and long-form guide pages include Google AdSense code. About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, Editorial Policy, Disclaimer, and 404 pages do not load the AdSense publisher tag. Google and other participating vendors may use cookies or similar technologies, subject to the visitor's consent choices, to serve and measure advertisements. Advertising may use prior visits to this site or other sites when personalized advertising is allowed; non-personalized or limited ads may instead use contextual information such as the current page and general location.

Visitors can review or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. The Google consent message also provides controls for the vendors and purposes available in the visitor's region.

Cloudflare delivery and performance data

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process routine network and security data needed to deliver the pages, such as IP address, user agent, request time, and abuse signals. Cloudflare also provides a cookie-free Web Analytics performance beacon that measures page-load timing, Web Vitals, page path, referrer, browser, and device information. It does not use cookies or browser storage. This service is separate from the consent-based Google Analytics events above. See the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

Images and YouTube

Project screenshots are used with permission and load from the CurseForge media CDN, so that service receives a normal image request when a page containing a screenshot is opened. YouTube players do not load on initial page view. After a user presses play, the site creates a player from youtube-nocookie.com; YouTube can then process the request under its own policies. A normal outbound link is always provided as an alternative.

Email contact

If you email support@veritymod.org, the message and its sender details are processed by the site's email provider and used to review or respond to the request. Do not send passwords, API keys, private logs, or other secrets.

Policy changes

This policy is updated when the site's data processing changes. A consent choice for the current Google services does not grant consent for an unrelated future service.
